Confidential job search tips (and a free eBook!) - Sterling Career Concepts

Confidential job search tips (and a free eBook!) Confidential job search tips (and a free eBook!) How to not Accidentally Broadcast your Confidential Job Search: If you’re currently employed and conducting a confidential job search, its important to be careful with your job search-related activity. Here are three tips to keep in mind: Do not set up a LinkedIn profile and send out a multitude of connection requests  all at once so that you go from 0 to 500 connections in one week. Be thoughtful and deliberate about your job search activities online. Turn off the setting that sends notifications to others in LinkedIn, especially as you build your profile. Do not apply to blind job postings that do not specify an  employer. (That perfect job you’re applying for might be with your current employer!) Be sure to let any recruiters you’re working with know that you’re conducting a confidential job search. Dont assume they know its under wraps. This is too important of a fact to work under assumptions. If youre getting ready to begin a strategic and confidential job search and appreciated these tips, I offer a free eBook for download that goes into much more detail on how to confidentially and successfully look for a job while you still have one.
